Richardson Engineering & Forensics, PLLC was founded by Matthew G. Richardson, P.E. out of a desire to assist those whose questions need answers. When failures or performance problems occur, REF can determine the cause, origin, and extent of damages such that a path forward can be realized.

Owner / Principal
Matt has over 21 years of engineering experience spanning both the public and private sectors. He has over 15 years in Civil Structural Forensics and 6 years in Roadway Construction.
As the Owner / Principal of Richardson Engineering & Forensics, PLLC, Matt conducts engineering investigations of residential and commercial structures to determine the cause / origin of the damage, the extent of the damage, and the proper repair recommendations. He compiles the pertinent information into a report with supporting photographs and research documentation when needed. Matt utilizes his past experience and problem-solving skills and to provide answers to clients’ questions.
